An Integrated Research Model<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The natural alignment between the Institute\u2019s research axes and its clinical missions gives the Research Centre a distinctive character, ultimately benefiting patients. This ongoing synergy between researchers and healthcare professionals ensures effective knowledge transfer into clinical care, fully aligned with the visions of the Fonds de recherche du Qu\u00e9bec (FRQ) and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our research teams leverage this close integration to advance the understanding of the metabolic determinants of cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, while developing innovative and competitive research rooted in Quebec and focused on prevention and treatment. This integrated approach also enables the identification of research priorities directly connected to the clinical challenges specific to the Institute\u2019s subspecialties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
