It offers researchers high-tech imaging equipment that meets the needs of human and animal research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure data-module=\"Figcaption\" class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"104\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iucpq.ca\/app\/uploads\/2024\/07\/logo-plateforme-imagerie-avancee.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7692\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The AIP includes a 3-Tesla magnetic resonance imaging system, an ultrafast CT scanner equipped with 256 detectors as well as a Lunar iDXA bone densitometer.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-stereo-section-bloc section-block-normal\"><div class=\"wp-block-stereo-section__container\"><div class=\"wp-block-stereo-section__col is-layout-flow wp-block-stereo-section-bloc-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Team<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Scientific Director: Dr \u00c9ric Larose<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administrative manager: Mich\u00e8le Cyr<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinator:&nbsp; Dr Xavier Moreel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-stereo-section-bloc section-block-normal -section-alt\"><div class=\"wp-block-stereo-section__container\"><div class=\"wp-block-stereo-section__col is-layout-flow wp-block-stereo-section-bloc-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Equipment and Services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This platform, located in Pavilion A of CRIUCPQ-ULaval, set up for accommodating research participants under optimal conditions (reception point, waiting room, locker room, sampling room, etc.). It also has a processing room for biological specimens that is available to research teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AIP has direct access to CRIUCPQ-ULaval animal facility, which eases the performance of preclinical protocols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AIP team provides technical assistance to all researchers, both in the planning and the imaging testing, and in their analysis.
