All of our valued partners are listed on page 40 of the latest annual report (2024–2025) (French Only). We wish to single out a few in particular for their significant contributions to our work.
Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)
CIHR is a major funding agency for researchers. Each year, many of them receive grants or awards to further their research programs. In 2024-2025, CIHR grants awarded to our researchers totaled nearly $5.3 million, or 48% of the total awarded to granting agencies recognized by the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS).
Fondation IUCPQ
Thanks to the generosity of its donors, the IUCPQ Foundation awarded $2,186,017 in 2024 to support numerous research projects and give researchers the leverage they need to obtain external funding.
Of this amount, $1,080,000 was awarded to 44 researchers as part of the annual research competition to advance research in the fight against cardiovascular, pulmonary and metabolic diseases. A further $140,000 was awarded to support the biobank.
